This year my two oldest sons had antlerless elk tags in unit 27, Arizona. My brother and I spent the day with them hunting. We split into two groups and spent the morning hunting. After lunch we came upon a herd and both boys shot a cow elk out of the same herd, within minutes of each other. We then worked until dark getting the animals processed. We arrived home around midnight. One elk was taken with a Savage 308 WIN and the other with a Tikka 243 WIN. Great day, and memories to last a lifetime.
