Performer Bio
Mingyu Son, percussion ( Daegu, South Korea), was a percussionist of the Daegu Youth Art Symphony Orchestra (DYASO). He performed at John F. Kennedy Center (Washington D.C), Allice Tully Hall (New York City), and The Kimmel Center(Philadelphia). He won the Seoul National University Competition, Yonsei University Competition, and Italy Fermo International Percussion Competition. Mingyu Son is currently working toward his BM in Percussion Performance under Robert van Sice at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.
