East Harrison Lake Off-Road - Was the Road Really Closed?

We wrap up the waterfall detour and head south on East Harrison Lake Forest Service Road. The forecast calls for more rain, and with fog rolling in, the trail takes on a moody vibe.

Narrow overgrown sections, shelf roads, ruts, and water crossings keep us on edge. The map showed this road as closed - but we wanted to see for ourselves. Eventually the trail clears and we reach our goal: Harrison Lake. After all the obstacles, getting here feels like a win.
