Infernomon: From Epic RPG to Roguelike Reboot - My Dev Journey Detour!

Hello! My name is Jace, I am a full-time software developer and a part-time indie game developer! Follow me along my journey to making my first video game: INFERNOMON.

Infernomon is a 2D RPG dungeon crawler that combines aspects from my favorite childhood games and stories: Pokemon, Harry Potter, and World of Warcraft!

Your character lives in a purgatory-like world where it is up to you to defend the Earth portal against the possessed Infernomon that are encroaching upon it in hopes of arriving on Earth and destroying all its inhabitants. It is up to YOU to defend the Earth portal and save the world!

Play the role of an elf witch/wizard who attends a magical school where you will:
Learn to conjure rare and powerful monsters called "Infernomon"
Brew powerful potions to give your team a boost in battle
Enchant weapons and armor with elemental magic to give you an edge over different enemy Infernomon
Craft gems to boost certain stats and amplify each Infernomon's unique role in battle

Venture out into different dungeons to battle Infernomon that are possessed by a dark magic and:
Level up your player and Infernomon
Collect powerful weapons, armor, and items for you and your Infernomon
Acquire material for ranking up your school professions
Push to increase your dungeon score by defeating increasingly difficult dungeons and unlocking even more powerful rewards
