This recipe is very easy oven-baked, we’re shaping and baking it directly on a sheet pan,
These Sheet Pan Kababs in the oven are delicious! Juicy, spiced ground bee is mixed with fresh herbs, spices, then baked on a sheet pan to perfection with minimal shaping required!
Ingredients:
2 lb minced beef (80/20 fat ratio)
salt to taste
½ tbsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tbsp black pepper powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garam masala
½ tbsp crushed cumin
1 tbsp coarsely crushed coriander
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp tomato paste(optional)
1 large onion (chopped & squeezed)
4 green chillies (chopped, adjust to taste)
Handful fresh coriander (chopped)
Topping (optional, for colour & flavor):
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp olive oil
Method:
Mix beef mince with all spices, onion, and ginger garlic paste. Add chopped coriander and green chillies. Add 1 tbsp tomato paste and mix it well. This is optional.
Marinate for 2 hours in the fridge.
Transfer to an oven-safe dish or sheet pan and flatten evenly.
Divide into 6 -8 portions and mark impressions with a knife or spatula.
Brush with olive oil.
Bake on the lowest oven rack at highest temperature (250°C or 480°F) for 20 minutes.
Mix 1 tbsp tomato paste, and 2 tbsp olive oil. Add little water and mix it well. Brush on top.
then broil on the top rack high for 4 minutes until the kebabs develop a golden-brown color with slightly charred edges.
