Ah yes...the world's okay-est synth. While I have to admit the sound is a bit lackluster in some respects, I have certainly played worse or, at least, less inspiring synths. I know the consensus on the Internet is generally unfavorable. In reality, this one CAN sound good and rewards programming. The layout is quick and intuitive; great for a budding synth programmer. Spice it up with some external effects and you have a usable instrument. Instruments are tools, after all, and it's your job to play them to their strengths. MY feelings towards this synth are very 50/50...what was it's competitor, the Korg Radias maybe? And the Alesis Ion? I sure do enjoy that Radias... You decide!
