Motivated to post this by the passing of Traver Brown aka Spiga of Monsta Island Czars on November 10th, 2022. His family still (as of 8/27/24) has a GoFundMe for his memorial services here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/tj-traver-... . Spiga was a very underrated emcee in the Monsta Island Czars collective, easy to sleep on given he didn't drop a solo album. In 2010, The Troy Blog made a great compilation album called Spiega - Forgive Them Father, which is 14 songs long and is a grouping of solo songs, group work and guest features. Meanwhile enjoy this dope EP released by Dope Folks Records in 2014. Dope Folks releases a lot of older hip hop that never got a chance for a proper release or is just worth reviving once more. They also have released projects with X-Ray Da Mindbenda aka King Cesar separately from this.
