"Heart of Fire", probably the second most famous song of the game, plays in the 5th block (The Prison), arguably the hardest level of the game.
This powerful song accompanies Simon during his journey to confront the right arm of Dracula, Death. The numerous hazards found here (red skeletons, AXE ARMORS and MEDUSA HEADS) will prove the courage of the protagonist, followed by this epic tune (the name Heart of Fire refers to the courage of Simon after all).
I consider this the most well fitting song in the entire OST.
The success of this song is, however, shared with the raising in popularity of the "Julius Theme" from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, a song containing "Heart of Fire" mixed with "Don't Wait Until Night", a lesser known song coming from the arcade game "Haunted Castle".
Note: the Amiga version of CV1 plays this track in the 3rd block)
