Driving in Belgium: A27 E42 from St. Vith to Verviers

In this video you can drive along on the Belgian motorway A27 (E42) from St. Vith in the East to Verviers and the junction with the E40. We will cross through the heart of the Ardennes and pass some interesting sights and cities, from the Spa Francorchamps F1 racetrack to the city of Verviers.

In the beginning of the video close to the border with Germany in East-Wallonia, there are many towns that have German names and I believe German is also generally spoken in the area. Slowly as we pass St. Vith, we enter into the French-speaking territory of Wallonia. This part of Belgium really is a fascinating region, from both a landscape- as well as a history perspective.
