Title of Project:
Public Transport Bus Schedule API using RestAssured
🎯 Objective:
To simulate and validate a REST API for city bus schedules. we will use GET requests, query parameters, and assertions for schedule and status fields.
📋 Task Overview:
1. Build a mock API returning real-time bus schedule data.
2. Fetch Query schedule using get method
3. Use RestAssured to add data
4. Record and upload task on YouTube.
Attributes/Fields:
• routeId
• busNumber
• origin
• destination
• arrivalTime (24h format)
• status (On Time, Delayed, Cancelled)
Validation Criteria for API Testing:
1. Header Content Validation
2. Response Time Assertion
3. BaseURI and requestSpecBuilder
4. Response Code (200 OK or 404 if route not found)
