This sit down was absolutely essential and inevitable for our show because along with giving out flowers in general, every now and again we like to bring in the people that deserve their flowers for their contribution to the UK rap scene. Season 5 Episode 6 (Fatherhood) saw us draw for the Legendary Rodney P from the UK’s first real road rap group “London Posse”, their debut album “Gangster Chronicle” having been voted as the most important rap album to come out of the UK. After Rodney broke down his life story so far, including his music journey, Spray put him through his ‘RTM Fire Round’, before getting into some ‘Current Affairs’ including Andrew Tate’s recent arrest and Loski getting found guilty. We had a break for some ‘RTM Banter’ then got into the main subject which was “Fatherhood”. The ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ closed the show as usual with Rodney blessing us with three books he suggests we read. This conversation was so transparent and Realer Than Most so you know no stones were left unturned and one thing you’ll be sure to get from Spray is a bit of banter.
