Freezing Conditions in the Brecon Beacons ❄️ Bannau Brycheiniog

Happy New Year, all.

For my first camp of 2025 I decided to return to the same mountain that I spent my first camp of 2024 on, Craig Cerrig-gleisiad. I was lucky to have similar conditions to that, of what I had on the previous camp there, the Met Office predicted temperatures of -5°C. It was such a refreshing change to spend a night out in icy conditions after all of the rain that we've been having. An added bonus to the camp was bumping into Mark & Simon from 'Twin Peaks Outdoors'. It was a great night, and a good start to the New Year.
