"The Itabashi Slayer" is a silly name I came up with for an interesting kara super setup for Akuma in Super Street Fighter IV. WestAB pitched the idea of this trick to me, and after him using it successfully a bunch of times I was convinced it was the greatest thing ever, and have thus made a tutorial explaining how it works.
It's essentially a super kara'd with a far standing roundhouse kick. There is a legitimate method to do this type of demon, but it involves a complicated plink that is sort of like a tongue twister for your hands...so this method grants you the benefit of the roundhouse's added range, as well as a built-in setup to land it -- with a much more lenient input to boot, more akin to the overhead kara demon than any plinking shenanigans.
You cannot kara a super from standing roundhouse by hitting jab+roundhouse twice, it doesn't work. It's just not possible to do three deliberate inputs in 8 frames time. That's 8/60th's of a second for slamming your hand and fingers down three times. If the first hit of the roundhouse animates, it's too slow. This is canceling the roundhouse in the start-up frames, before the first hit can connect, even at point blank range. (though it would be pointless to use at point blank)
Music is by Module, the track is called "Glass Halls," which is off the Shatter Soundtrack. (Shatter is a video game)
Thanks to WestAB for being godlike, check him out on XBL, his youtube account is / mcsmay
