A strange graft that has helped the Opuntia Cacanapa (dry southern zone 7a) survive our wet north NJ winters. Hoping to try the fruit soon!
I mix up variety and species- these are two different species. The "Ellisiana" is the spineless variety of a cacanapa. The humifusa is not a variety, it is a species and this particular variety is a wild one without a name.
