During a hot August afternoon drive to Byram, so we began singing Christmas carols, I videotaped the scenery.
Today, Walgreen's stands where the Sunflower grocery is, and the empty lot where the steam shovel is resting is where a McDonald's resides.
As for the school and the playground, they are no more.
Interesting bit is this was clearly before a metal fence was put around the school, . . . . to keep out the riff-raff, I suppose?
