My First Enduro Race at Orange Show Speedway Didn't Go To Planned

Had a great time in my first ever Enduro race. We started the day out solid in qualifying by qualifying 8th out of 18 cars, and after the invert started pole position for the sport class. The race went well the whole time, I made it up into 5th overall and 3rd in the sport class. With 4 laps to go I was able to get to the inside of a lap car to pass but they came up on me causing them to spin, I hit my brakes and before I could turn around the car, another car came in and sideswiped me which resulted in them riding up the side of my car and coming down on the hood. This completely destroyed the right front of the car by breaking the axle, inner tie-rod, and the upper control arm. We spent an hour an a half fixing the car in the pits enough just so it could be pushed into the hauler. Definitely not what we were hoping for but that's just racing. Hopefully I get the opportunity to race an Enduro here again sometime in the future. I also have to give a big thanks to Rider Gardner for allowing me to race this car, and Robert Rice, Bobby Ozman, and Cheryll Hyland for helping me get faster and helping to fix the car.
