Struggling with a severe eating disorder and declining health, Daria sought treatment at The Meadows at the urging of her therapist and husband. While she arrived feeling anxious, the compassionate staff and peaceful setting quickly helped her feel at ease. Through the support of her care team and peers, Daria began the hard work of recovery. Today, she continues that work with a dedicated outpatient team and support through the Meadows alumni community. Her advice to others: “Take it one moment at a time. The first step is just making the call.”
