As a follow-up to my last video entitled, "A Truthful Perspective from a Survivor of "The Lord's Recovery", for Seminary Faculty Members (2)" I felt to dive deeper into the characteristics of cults/high control groups and how "The Lord's Recovery"/"The Local Church"/Living Stream Ministry publications fit those characteristics. This first "deeper dive" is into the BITE model - the control of Behavior, Information, Thought and Emotions by leadership in high control relationships/groups. I read some excerpts from Living Stream Ministry publications to demonstrate how the teachings promote unhealthy levels of control.
