On top of Germany: Climbing Zugspitze (w/ english subtitles)

The Zugspitze is a place of longing for many Germans, because at 2,962m it is the highest mountain in Germany. And not only this: it is also beautiful, no matter from which direction you approach it. The classic ascent is through the Reintal valley. True, this is the longest route and also has the most vertical meters. But it is technically relatively easy and there are several huts where you can spend the night in between.
On our first day, we walked from the Olympic Stadium in Garmisch-Patenkirchen through the Partnachklamm and the Reintal to the Reintalangerhütte (see separate video for this part). The Zugspitze is not yet visible. But the path along the Partnach is beautiful. You can see that in the first video. In this video, however, the path from the Reintalangerhütte to the summit is shown - two absolute dream days!
