Here's the 1st update on Thyra & Uhtred in their new home:
"Finally dozing off after several hours of exploring and playing. Thyra was the first to do everything, except eat. They ended up polishing off a good-sized plate of food each. Lots of soft and sheltered places in the room, but Uhtred just crashed in the middle of the floor (OK, he was first to do that too) and then Thyra decided to join him. We have graduated from being a bit scary to being part of the furniture - they'll discover soon that we're heated furniture. No hiding or crying at all (well, once when Uhtred momentarily lost sight of Thyra).
Oh - Uhtred's just come over and turned the purr on - and here's Thyra too. I think they're OK.
Scampering and playing has resumed. More purring visits to us - I think they're beginning to notice us more. All good."
