The Geologic Oddity in Turkey; Towering Fairy Chimneys

Within Turkey are a series of hundreds of pinnacles which jet out from the ground by as much as 115 feet or 35 meters. To add to this, many of these volcanic pillars have a triangle shaped caprock which on occasion even jets out wider than the base. This video will discuss how these so called "Fairy Chimneys" formed, and how they relate to ancient volcanic eruptions produced in Turkey.
