Deselect: Cmd + D... (Windows: Ctrl + D)

✅ VIDEO SUMMARY
To feather a selection after creating it, go to "Select" and then choose the option called "Modify". From this dropdown then select "Feather". This should open a seperate window from which you can increase the feather radius of your selection - also works on already feathered selections!
