These are the basic steps to make cold processed soap. I love coconut oil soap, it makes rock hard bars, that are pure white and clean extremely well. The 25% superfat makes it extra moisturizing
Coconut Oil Recipe
500 grams Coconut Oil
136 grams Water
69 grams Lye
*This recipe is scalable, meaning if you want to make twice as much, just double each ingredient
Instructions
Weigh lye
Weigh water
Weigh oil
Add lye to water and mix
Add mixture of lye & water to oil and mix
optional Add fragrance (~1 oz/lb of oil) and colourants
Pour into mold, let rest for 24 hours
Remove and cut
Clean dirty bodies
