Is The Last of Us HBO a Good Adaptation?

Once again, I am revisiting the series that spring-boarded the first video on my channel. The Last of Us is something that I've watched over the years change quite a bit.

HBO's The Last of Us adaptation has been given a ton of praise recently... but does it really deserve all that praise? That's the question I find myself answering today not only on my behalf, but the behalf of my friends, family, and coworkers. I have a pretty rational take on this adaptation from the perspective of someone who bought it the day it released back on June 14th, 2013.

There's a lot riding on this adaptation but I think this honest feedback will help people release where the show could have been different given a little bit different direction. I'm not mad that it wasn't exactly like the game but I feel like some things might have been better if they deviated a little less.

Also a bit of advice: don't buy the PC version. The Crashed of Us is so poorly optimized that I can't believe they released the game in such a broken state. It's only the 4th time they've released the same product. How could they expect this?
