Beating the Lunatic Cultist and All Four Celestial Pillars... It’s Endgame Time! | Sotipn Episode 26

Today marks one of the biggest episodes in our entire Terraria playthrough, because this is the moment everything finally shifts into full endgame. What started as a simple plan to check out the dungeon turned into a complete explosion of chaos the second we ran into the Lunatic Cultist and kicked off one of the wildest chains of events we’ve dealt with so far. We expected a tough fight, but we definitely didn’t expect things to escalate the way they did. The Cultist fight was fast, weird, loud, and full of spells flying at us from every direction. It honestly had us both laughing, panicking, and yelling at the same time as we tried to dodge all the random projectiles and illusions he threw at us.

And once the Cultist went down, Terraria didn’t even give us a moment to breathe. The sky instantly changed, the music shifted, and suddenly the four Celestial Pillars spawned in across the world like giant glowing warnings that things were about to get way worse. Each pillar basically turned its entire biome into a battlefield, and we had to fight through wave after wave of enemies just to make progress. The Solar area was brutal up close, the Vortex mobs shredded us from a distance, the Stardust summons flooded the screen, and the Nebula enemies just refused to leave us alone. Every pillar had its own way of making us suffer, but somehow we pushed through all of them together.

This ended up being one of the most action-packed episodes we’ve recorded so far. There were so many close calls it was honestly ridiculous. We kept thinking we were about to die, only to barely save ourselves with a last-second dodge or a lucky escape. And the best part is how it all ties together: defeating the Lunatic Cultist triggers the celestial invasion, clearing the pillars unlocks the final fight, and we walked straight into that chaos head-on. Even though it was tough, the entire thing felt incredibly fun because both of us were constantly reacting, planning, panicking, and helping each other out as the madness kept getting worse.

Now that the pillars are gone, the world feels like it’s holding its breath. Everything is quiet in a way that almost feels wrong, because anyone who’s played Terraria knows exactly what happens next. The final challenge of the game is waiting for us, and we’ve officially entered the point of no return. Moon Lord is coming, and we’re preparing ourselves for whatever happens. Whether we win on our first attempt or get absolutely destroyed doesn’t matter — the important thing is that we’ve reached the true endgame together, and we’re ready for whatever comes next.
