Crawfish and Smallmouth Cookout on a Boat!

Me ancient and I set out to smallmouth fish the winding Snake River and ended up doing a pretty great crawfish and bass catch and cook right on our boat! We left home with nothing but a jar of cashews and had to catch the rest of our food for dinner. We did not go home hungry! The crawdads are out in droves and looking fatter and healthier than I've seen. The best lure of the day was a soft plastic with a hint of blue on the belly because that was the color of the craws we were finding.
