I provide some quick 101 information (like where to find shapes in PowerPoint), but then start sharing some ideas for how you can use additional tools you might not be familiar with, such as merge tools and editing the default points of shapes to create new shapes.

Using these advanced tools in PowerPoint will help you create even more customized shapes, such as Venn diagrams, that allow you to customize the colors more than you might be used to.
