SMC U42 42" ceiling fan in white/polished brass, brand new in its original box. I found this fan at a local thrift store, it was still in the shrink wrap from shipping to the Kmart it was sold at. This one is an earlier version than any I've had in the past, with the brown UFO motor inside. I was excited to finally find one like this, older fans of the U-series are among the select hugger fans that I honestly love. Really quite a powerful fan considering both the smaller 42" size and the fact that it's a hugger, I was decently impressed by the performance. The bearings are in pretty good running condition, a little whir noise, but not bad considering SMC can be so hit-and-miss.
