Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Select is a new variant from Mahindra. Its a value for money variant in the range of XUV700. The select variant is placed between AX3 & AX5. The new variant has been given a sky roof, push bottom start, map lights in second row. The price difference from AX5 is between 1.5 laks to 2.5 lakhs.
Mahindra launched its flagship model, The new Mahindra XUV 700 on 2nd October 2021. The all new Mahindra XUV700 is one of the most futuristic SUV from and Indian brand. The XUV 700 is backed with ADAS (Advanced Drive Assist System) which has several safety features also increasing the driving dynamics. The main features of ADAS include Adaptive Cruise Control, Front collision warning & Emergency breaking, Lane keep assist and intelligent auto head lamps units. The XUV700 is equipped with 5 cameras and a radar to perform the ADAS Functions.
And coming to the vehicle, the new front grills give an excellent look for the vehicle, the new Mahindra logo has been implemented in XUV 700. The new logo is M shaped (dual M alphabets incorporated in butterfly wings). The front face is soo attractive with the arrow shaped clear lens LED headlamps. The wipers are rain sensing and the head lamps are auto headlamps. There is a fog lamp with cornering ability in the bumper. The diffuser plates are shiny grey in color. The rear end looks too great..! The arrow shaped LED tail lamp cluster looks stunning. The interiors of XUV700 are soo premium with a beige colors. The front dashboard area is occupied by a large infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. Two screens are placed together so that it appears as single. Its powered by Sony corporation. The XUV700 has a connected feature - AdrenoX. The XUV700 can be controlled remotely using this cloud feature. The voice commands can be performed with the help of Alexa. There are wireless charging options and power outlets for charging your phone. The Seats are 6 ways electrically adjustable and can be programmed for three persons. The ORVM indicators can sense the blind spot and can inform the driver. The sunroof named as Sky roof my Mahindra is the biggest in this segment. The air condition (A/c) is a dual zone ac with auto temperature control.
The back row seats are very comfortable with adequate legroom and headroom. The seats can be reclined too.
The third row seats little bit cramping with less head room and leg room, but suitable for children. The vehicle has 7 airbags, Electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, Break Assist, Traction control, drive modes, ISOFIX child seats and lot more ADAS features for added safety . The suspension is individual for each tyre and is a frequency select damper. There are three driving modes, Zip, zap, Zoom for different drive dynamics.

The Mahindra XUV 700 comes in petrol and Diesel, The engines are from Mahindra Thar, namely mHawk and mStallion. The petrol engine is a mStallion engine 2.0 Liter Turbo petrol with direct Injection (TGDi). There are 6 variants for XUV700 - MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7L and 4*4. The price ranges from 14.50 lakhs to 27.50 lakhs for the top variant. The mileage figures are yet to come. The bookings will start by October 7, 2021.
