In this Tool House Teaser, I explain how we determine the weight of a hog without having a livestock scale.
By using a flexible tape measure, we measure the chest of the hog behind the front legs and the back from the base of ears to the base of the tail.
By using the power of advanced mathematics (and you said you would never use algebra), we can determine the weight simply by plugging those numbers in the equation:
(chest * chest)length/400=Weight
Keeping the hog still while you take these measurements is the real trick!
