"Alphas" were an ancient people that lived in the world of Pokemon millennia ago. In the middle of Johto there was a big city with a great temples that, through the time became ruins. These temples were built for Unown, mysterious Pokemon that pictures letters of alphabet. Actually is still unknown if Unowns take form from alphabet or the inverse, and the ruins are full of scientist that study them and some mysterious puzzles.
