14-16 Mar 2025: York, I'm back! This city has always held a special place in my heart, and I’m sure Mom would agree—it’s our favourite city in England.
Steeped in history, York boasts Roman foundations and a fascinating Viking heritage. The city is still encircled by ancient walls, originally built during Roman times to defend against Scottish invasions. Today, they’re open to the public and offer a scenic walking route with panoramic views of the city. I highly recommend taking a stroll along them—the view from above is pretty spectacular.
