NorCal Raptor Runs Baja 2024

Come along with us as we traverse the Baja peninsula over the course of almost 5 days! Our stops included San Quintin, Bahia de Los Angeles, and San Felipe, and a ton of beautiful spots in between! With between 200-260 miles a day, we gave every Raptor a workout.

We started with somewhat heavy rainfall and cold weather on day one after an already wet week prior. It made Laguna Hansen and the northern areas all the way down to the crossover road littered with puddles and mud! But, that let up to some spectacular weather the next 3.5 days. By the time we hit San Felipe it was 75-80 and sunny all day!

This trip was made additionally special with the inclusion of Ford themselves! Ford came along for the ride with Farm League filming, and Wieden+Kennedy producing a documentary about NCRR. You’ll be able to see the feature film in about a month! They are FANTASTIC people, and very cool to work with. We took them on some gnarly trails, asked them for their full confidence and trust, and they gave it to us. By the final dinner we had made a whole host of new friends with the director, producers, Ford personnel, and all the camera and sound guys. All in all, we had an extremely successful, fun, tiring, eye opening, jaw dropping trip of a lifetime. We hope to do this again, and bring even more people down to Baja to experience the tranquil beauty that it has to offer.
