► ABOUT

A Beginning of the band dates back to 2000 and the band counts two now inactive members (Hellawaiter - drums and Darknesscore - guitar) at the time. A frontman Mother Terror (guitar, vocal) joints the band in 2002 and the former name Hangover is instantly changed to Bajonet after favoured closure of bottle gas cylinders. An empty post of a bass-player is occupied by Fearwell (a friend form Mother´s childhood) in 2003 and an 8-years-long period starts ending up by Hellawaiter departure. Thomas von Graveyard (another childhood friend) replaces him rapidly and everything picks up steam which costs Bajonet of the second founder member: Darknesscore. So Bajonet is powerful trio like Sodom since 2013.

Bajonet’s lyrics are prudently written in Czech and are full of vulgarisms typical for the tongue. The members were born on the wrong side of the iron curtain. A free production of metal is a symbol of freedom for them and their music reflects antipathy to all militant efforts of humankind. Mother Terror, Fearwell and Thomas von Graveyard celebrate life via Bajonet like Neanderthal men around a tribe fire. Dudes in Bajonet make everything regarding the scene by themselves (from music, lyrics, photos, artworks, up to printing the merchandise) to have the art complete. They don’t want to be part of any “fashion wave”.
