This is both a 'fun' video and a serious video.
Somewhere out there, someone is looking for a really unusual and 'nerdy' way of proposing. One of the most intriguing I have seen was a proposal in binary code (see YouTube video • 010011110110100000100000011010000110000101... or simply search for 'binary proposal'). It's not for everyone, but certainly has its niche! This is my contribution to some couple who share a passion for mathematics and graphing!
On a more serious note, you will notice that this is the longest video that I have yet posted. This is because I take time to review the three graphing skills discussed in previous videos:
how to modify the equation for a circle to create long, thin ellipses,
how to move any graph to new locations on the coordinate plane, and
how to create one large equation that is composed of many smaller ones.

If you want to give the material to someone without their being aware of what they are graphing, you can download the same instructions without the first explanatory page from the same page at http://crystalclearmaths.com/wp-conte.... Just remember, if you are planning to share the PDF file (and not a printout), then make sure you change the filename first because the file name contains the text 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?'

In my next videos I will be discussing the kinds of graphs produced by an equation if the product of factors is NOT equal to zero. Then I will show you how to create your own polynomial equation from a given table of values.
If you wish to be informed of each video as I produce it, please subscribe to my channel.
It would be appreciated if you would like and/or comment on this video as well -- especially if this material has helped you.
