Although I got many unexpected experience in Vietnam, I still find it a very nice place to visit. The nature, landscape, culture, food, people, all the aspects completed the South Asian memories of mine.
Sapa is a district-level town of Lào Cai Province. And Cat Cat village, as an ethnic village of the Hmong people. It is located approximately 2km from the Sapa centre. It would be nice to take a walk to Cat Cat village, because you will be able to spot many lovely cafes with breath-taking mountain views.
It's definitely a commercial tourist spot, however it's worthy to visit while you are in Sapa. If you wanna take nice pictures, don't forget to get a costume to get involved.
