Hi there, I thought I'd compare the FRG-7 against it's replacement, the FRG-7700. Both very different radios of course; the former utilising 1970s Wadley loop technology whilst the latter is a PLL frequency synthesized receiver. I think theys perform very similarly, but let me know your thoughts. Note, Radio Tarma is not an easy DX target, so this was a result on both radios.
Recorded on 31/05/24 at 01:41 hrs UTC using a Bonito MegaLoop FX antenna via a Bonito Antenna Jet RF splitter.
