I only had two days to chase a giant blue catfish before the snow melted, and it was a grind from the start. The fishing was slow, and I only managed to catch a couple of small ones, but I made the most of it by cleaning and cooking one right on the bank. Just when I started to doubt it would happen, I was able to land an absolute giant in the snowy conditions. This is a moment I won’t forget, and proof that persistence pays off!
