How to Prep Squash & Okra (and other veggies) For the Freezer to Fry Later | Just Like My Mom

When I was a teenager, I remember walking into the kitchen, seeing my mom pull out cookie sheets from the oven full of breaded okra. Today I am showing you how my mom put up okra and squash from our garden for the freezer.

Ingredients I used:

Breading-
Flour, all purpose (2 c)
Yellow cornmeal (2.5 c)
(All seasonings to your taste)
Paprika
Lowry’s
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt
Pepper

Egg dip:
1 egg
1 c milk

Bake at 350 for 7 minutes
