　我們自己必須要知道，三界六道裡頭，哪個地方我們都住過。說不定我們在天上做過天王，也在地獄受過苦難，你出不去，總在圈子裡兜圈子，在這裡轉。知道這種事實真相，我們對淨土的決心就下去了，我不幹這些傻事了，我一心一意就求生淨土。在這個世間無論幹什麼事情，附帶的，縱然是積功累德，要把這個功德迴向求生淨土，不求人天福報，更不能求現前的福報。現前福報是什麼？名聞利養，名氣很大，大家對你恭敬，取得社會的地位、財富，得這個東西。這些東西都是生死業因，決定不能要，決定要生淨土。

We must understand that within the three realms and six paths, we have experienced various states of existence. We may even have been heavenly kings in heaven or suffered in hell; trapped in this cycle, we continue to transmigrate.

Recognizing this reality, our determination to attain rebirth in the Pure Land strengthens. We resolve to abandon foolish pursuits and focus solely on seeking birth in the Pure Land. Regardless of our actions in this world, even if they accumulate merit, we must dedicate this merit to seeking rebirth in the Pure Land. We should not seek the worldly rewards of fame, fortune, or social status. These are all transient and bound to the cycle of birth and death. Our ultimate goal should be rebirth in the Pure Land.
