Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says the ASX 200 has been “hit hard” following US President Donald Trump’s new reciprocal tariff announcement.
“It’s been smashed, fair and simple. It has been hit hard and so have overseas markets as well,” Mr Greenwood said.
“In the short time that the market has been open here, somewhere between $50 and $60 billion has been wiped off the value of Australian shares.”
