SLOW final - Nils and Bianca - World Championship 2022

This is the slow round of the final at the Boogie Woogie World Championship in Stuttgart. The prelims or qualification rounds are always in a lighter and different room so it’s always quite exciting to change room for the final rounds. The lighting and atmosphere is different, the audience too. We love that they allow other competitors and teams to gather around the floor, it makes it much more intimate and supportive. It feels like we share what we do with everybody in the room rather than just show off. We danced in the last heat which in some situations can be stressful since you have to wait for everybody to dance but this time it was nice to wait. We danced the stress away backstage. We do not get to choose the song we will get so the little moments while we wait for the music to start are always terrifying since we are picky and very specific on which tunes we like and we are not into the majority of the slow songs chosen for the WRRC contests (hehe😅). There is of course some sort of excitement in making the best out of whatever song you get. We loved dancing knowing that our friends were there ❤️
