Shush, situated in the northern part of Khuzestan Province, dates back to 4000 BCE and is considered one of the oldest cities in the world. Right here in modern-day Iran lies the Tomb of Prophet Daniel, one of the great prophets of the Children of Israel. This sacred and historical site is a major religious and cultural destination for the people of Iran.
