We might have a @Battlefield problem. DICE/EA stated have stated multiple times and in multiple ways they are going back to a core Battlefield experience. This would include taking some of the best and most proven features of games like Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. No need to reinvent the wheel. Only use what is proven and loved as stated by DICE and EA themselves.
Today, we were alerted that they have broken away from that mold and indeed reinventing the wheel drastically changes how classes work, their defined roles, class locked weapons, and multiple types of in game performance based upgrades. Yes, multiple.
Now, none of this sounds like the Battlefields I love which is always a game of paper, rock and scissors. It is getting tremendous blowback online. But, like all things I need to play it. But, as of right now, this all sounds terrible and I'm not a fan.
