Three days, two border crossings, one baby, and a Belarusian wedding to remember.

Norway ➝ Vilnius ➝ Minsk… with a 6-month-old and a suitcase full of snacks. Because what better way to test your parenting skills than by flying with a baby to a lakeside wedding in the Belarusian forest?

We made it there smoothly. Two flights, countless nappy changes, and one suspicious border guard later, we arrived in the woods just in time to witness a wedding straight out of a fairy tale. Think pine trees, late-summer light, wildflowers, and long tables overflowing with food and laughter. Also: mosquitoes the size of drones and a baby who decided sleep was optional.

From baby-wearing on the dance floor to bouncing between naps and toasts, I was equal parts guest, pack mule, and lullaby machine. Was it relaxing? Not remotely. Was it unforgettable? 100%.
