It’s not cheap to live the dream in the Pacific Northwest! We also dive into crime—especially property crime. It did spike during COVID, but numbers are starting to drop again. The good news? Suburbs around the city tend to be safer.
Another biggie? Homelessness. It’s a challenge here, though there’s been a slight improvement lately. The city is working on solutions, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re planning a move.
