What started as a quick overnight trip, turned into the most spectacular colors we have ever experienced in Colorado. By chance, we just happened to hit the right location, the right altitude, and the right time.
We started the trip with a little moisture, but it dried up on day 2, enabling us to explore some new areas we had never been to. And guess what...we are going back.
Sadly, the video footage from this trip was lost, so this video was produced using the "Low Resolution Video (LRV)" files GoPro cameras save for in-camera viewing.
