Meeting Austin Carlile!

I didn't put this in the story, but after the camera stopped Austin told me to come with him a few other people to the Donut Stop down the street so he could get donuts. My best friend & some new friends of mine waited around until 12am, when he got through meeting everyone. Once he was ready Austin & Aaron came over to our little group & we started our little adventure! haha. While we were walking there we all kind of just asked random questions. Me, being as awkward as I am, walked in front of everyone leading the way. My best friend asked Austin a couple questions that are to "stay in this group." So basically, you guys don't get to know. :P ANYWAYS, we finally get to Donut Stop just in time to find out that it is closed. So Austin, being as bummed as he was, decided to lay in the street for a couple of seconds & almost gets hit by a taxi. Kind of like in the Notebook. We start walking back & get into conversations about porn, porn stars, James Dean/Jimmy Dean & not having sex before marriage. Basically a bunch of random stuff. Eventually we start talking about I don't know what, but puts one arm on my shoulders & one arm on my friends shoulders & starts kind of I guess you could say describing us? My friend was the "artsy one," my best friend was the "feisty one" & I was the "little sister." We all were stoked to hear that we were all something to Austin, but didn't voice our thoughts because they would've yells & tears. haha. The closer we got to the bar next to the venue the more this question I had for Austin was ready to come out. So I eventually asked if Austin & I could get something next time he comes back.. So anywho, he said yes. Anyways, we finally get to the bar by the venue & out of no where this group of drunk guys start talking to us & the only thing we heard was Austin saying "Just keep walking, kids. Just keep walking.." It was a pretty fun walk back I guess you could say! Once we got back into the venue parking lot, my mom arrives & I run up to the car to grab her because I want her to meet Austin. The minute I get over to him I say "Austin! This is my mom!" right after I say that he smiles super big & says "Hi mom!" & gives her a big hug. After that it was bus call so he had to go. We all said our goodbyes & gave him hugs. While he hugged me he whispered "Your gift means the world to me. Thank you so much! When I come back we'll get matching tattoos, okay?" all I could do was cry & say okay.
In all honesty, I've never, in my 4 years of going to shows & meeting musicians,met anyone so kind & genuine! Austin will always be someone I'll love to meet & talk too.
