End Grain Box With A Burnished Fit Lid 🔥 A Perfect Fit 😉 Woodturning Black Walnut Sap wood

In this video, I turn a simple end grain box from an often-discarded sap wood cutoff from breaking down slabs into boards and blanks. The wood is a 2” x 2” x 6.5” piece of quarter-sawn 8/4” Black Walnut sap wood slab cutoff. At first it looks like I go past the lid fit I want. I go back later and resize the lid, finishing it with an accidental burnishing. The lid fit is perfect. 😉 I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.

Sealed with a sandingi sealer of 50/50 Shellac/Denatured Alcohol
