In this episode, we have created a "proof of concept" motor for our 34' Irwin Citation Sailboat and bench tested the components needed to get us off the dock and onto the waters of Florida.
The motor is from Thunderstruck and our solar power will be controlled by four 100 watt solar panels and a Victron charge controller.
In this first of a series of explanatory videos, we go into the lab setup we have created and discuss each of the parts in detail.
Future episodes will include our solar power build out as we continue our work.
